PREPARATION FOR SHEET ASSEMBLY

Prior to Skridplech and Gapa roofing sheet assembly,it is necessary to adjust the truss span so as to supplement roof trsses to 350mm axially.The span between the first truss is (close to a water drain)and subsequent second truss is 260mm-280mm axially,depending on roof slope.The distance between the first truss and edge plate is 30mm-50mm.In case a drain system lining is not used,we recommend nailing the standing plate as the roofing is anchored here behind the mound.For reasons of atmospheric humidity condensation in the spring and autumn months we recommend using safety waterproofing-a su7b-roof foil.The use of this foil is absolutely necessary for thermal insulat5ed roof framing.Safety waterproofing must be laid over the water drain lining.Counter trusses are nailed onto the foil along rafters and trusses only subsequently on them.We would like to call attention to the fact that first drain trough hooks have to be mounted on rafters with the required slope(if they are not to be mounted on a butt plate)and roof windows must also be mounted by following the assembly instructions provided by their manufacturer.

ROOF SHEET ASSEMBLY

Prior to laying individual strips of roofing sheets,it is necessary to mount roofing accessories,like.water drain edges and drain sheets under the roofing of roofing valleys.Roofing sheet strips themselves are drawn onto the roof framing on wooden slats or eventually on balks.The assembly starts from the right side of the lower strip and its lower edge must be parallel to the eaves.Fastening to the structure is done only with a few screws.After wards panels are laid horizontally and vertically in accordance with the sheet-laying plan.After placing the sheets,regularly check the first three pieces and they can then be firmly fastened to the structure.The sheet is screwed exclusively under the pressed wave,never on the wave.Walking on the sheet is allowed only with soft-soled shoes.Stepping is allowed on the area of the wave valley,in places packed with roof trusses.The protective foil must be removed from the products or roofing sheets immediately after assembly.
IF THERMAL PARTING EQUIPMENT IS USED THE RIGHTS TO CLAIM AGAINST THE WARRANTEE OF THE PRODUCER ARE VOID.

ANCHORING ROOF SHEETS
Roof sheets are fastened onto the structure with help of self-drilling bolts with dimensions 4.8x35mm with washer made from special EPDM rubber.Bolts must be fastened with an electric screwdriver with continuous power regulation.A bolt is securely fastened when the EPDM washer emerges from under the metal washer.Average bolt consumption is 6 to 9 pcs/m2.Bolts are placed cca.2cm below the transversal mould and the sheet should fit firmly on the roof truss.Sheets must be anchored more densely on roof edges-see the picture.In the ridge area it is necessary to anchor sheets on each lower wave.For steel sheets -steel sheets joints self -drilling bolts with dimensions 4.8x20mm are used.For longitudinal overlapping it is suitable to bolt the roof sheets cca.2cm below the transversal mould,over the wave peak.
ROOF VENTILATION
Perfect ventilation of the entire roof assembly is of great importance.A gap with width of cca.11cm is left on the ridge,which is covered by a universal ventilation strip.The roof cover is then ventilated through openings between the ri8dge tile and roof sheets.Ridge tiles are bolted onto roof sheets onto each second upper wave.Subsequently ,after anchoring the roof sheets and ridges tiles,other accessories are mounted including snow stops,upper board sheets and other accessories.
DURING ASSEMBLY IT IS NECESSARY TO REMOVE PRODUCED METAL GRIT FROM THE SURFACE WITH A SOFT BRUSH.
